Welcome to EUnited: The European Engineering Industries Association
EUnited - European Engineering Industries Association is a Brussels-based platform for European Engineering industries. EU legislation has an increasing impact on day-to-day business. The European Union is a unique international organisation with a capacity to develop the right policies and legislation in a highly complex and rapidly changing environment, through rigorous impact assessment and consultations with stakeholders. EUnited is one of these industry stakeholders, promoting appropriate policies and their timely implementation. EUnited also contributes to improving awareness of the role of equipment suppliers and seeks to promote the interests of companies in the area of research, skills development and competitiveness.
EUnited is an association representing a range of companies manufacturing equipment for the Cleaning, Metallurgical, Municipal and Robotics sector, with enlargement to other sectors expected. The role of the Association is to provide technical support to the companies in terms of legislation and policies (e.g., the Machinery and Energy using Products Directives, or Research and Development), to promote fair market conditions (e.g., in trade and global standards), and to provide a network for knowledge exchange (e.g., to explore technological solutions or promote supply chain solutions).
