IPR2 Roadmaps for download
The EU-China Project on the Protection of Intellectual Property Rights (IPR2) was launched in 2007 by the European Commission and the Government of People’s Republic of China. The objective of the project is to improve the effectiveness of intellectual property rights (IPR) enforcement in China.
Besides news on upcoming events, study tours, seminars and symposia in Europe and China, IPR2 provides a comprehensive framework of technical assistance to enhance the IP system in China to the benefit of policy-makers, operators, end-users and right holders. The results of IPR2 project activities are presented in 6 Core Components (Legal Framework, Capacity Building, Access to Information, Enforcement, Support to Right Holders, Trademarks & Designs), including access to presentations, reports, studies and training materials.
Moreover, the IPR2 website gives access to several brochures (Roadmaps) published by the Project. These publications are produced in English and Chinese for both European and Chinese right holders. The content is based on the opinion of independent experts and is designed to give guidance to Chinese and European companies, but not to substitute for legal counsel. The Roadmaps do, however, aim to provide a comprehensive overview of the protection and enforcement environment in China and the systems and practices in Europe in order to increase general awareness of the key issues in both regions.
As these Roadmaps publications are of particular interest to industry, IPR2 welcomes the support of business intermediary organisations in forwarding them to their interested members, what we herewith do. Please find some brochures for download in pdf format at the bottom of this page. Hard copies can be provided upon request and any comments may be forwarded directly to info@ipr2.org
