During the annual meetings the General Assembly of EUnited Metallurgy unanimously elected their new Board in Brussels. The new Board expressed their will to further engage with the directorate and thus continue a long-standing commitment.

Mrs Aleksandra Kozlowska reports in her key note speech “Reinforcing the EU steel sector” on the former ”Steel action plan“ and the current situation worldwide. She also informs on Carbon Capture and Use (CCU) and CO2 labeling, where technical questions still have to be answered.
Mr Marco Allois from Banca Intesa Sanpaolo gave speech on fostering growth through technology and innovation and the three main challenges in the financial markets. He outlines that digitalization will change the market intensively in the future and gave insights on new and innovative financial services.
“The digital manufacturing revolution and what it means for the machinery & equipment business” was topic of the EUnited Competitiveness Review & Dinner Debate at Bibliothèque Solvay in Brussels and rounded an informative day. One of the speakers, futurist Gerd Leonhard, CEO of the Futures Agency shared his foresights with EUnited especially in regards to the key issues that will impact our businesses in the next 5 years.
