High relevant policy topics and business interests of the metallurgical industry and neighbouring branches are the focus of the EUnited Metallurgy Business Forum which is held once a year.
Members, policy makers and stakeholders of engineering and process sectors debate on market movements and policy or trade issues that directly affect business activities. The event is open to a wider audience than our General Assembly or Working Groups and gives insights to major topics like
"The US industry momentum - a chance for European process industry?” which highlighted growth patterns within the US process industries at our 2014 Business Forum or
"New horizons for services in steel and non-ferrous industry" where top metallurgical technology suppliers discussed the potential of product related services.
The 2016 Business Forum "EU Finance for Capital Intensive Industries” will give insights on financing mechanisms for capital goods industries and their client sectors. Participants will get an overview on new financial instruments and the regulatory background especially tailored to the needs of the manufacturing industry. Future market perceptions, solutions and investment trends will be discussed with experts of the European Investment Bank.
The event is scheduled for 04 October and will be held in the Thyssen Krupp Foundation in Cologne, Germany.
