European Robotics Week, Nov. 28 - Dec. 4, 2011
The European Robotics Weeks, Nov. 28 - Dec. 4, 2011, offers one week of various robotic related activities across Europe for the general public, highlighting growing importance of robotics in a wide variety of application areas, and is locally organized in each European country. It also inspires technology education in students of all ages to pursue careers in STEM-related fields, i.e. science, technology, engineering and math.
The idea received overwhelming support of the European robotics community as it was presented at a workshop called "Promotion of European Robotics" during the European Robotics Forum in Västeras back in April 2011.

European Robotics Week is driven by the euRobotics Coordination Action and under the umbrella of euRobotics project.
