Patrick Schwarzkopf - New Director of EUnited Robotics
Patrick Schwarzkopf, the new Managing Director of VDMA Robotics + Automation, has also been appointed Director of EUnited Robotics as of 19 May 2014. Thilo Brodtmann, who had held the position of Director of EUnited Robotics since its inception in 2004, will be the new VDMA Executive Director and the successor of Dr. Hannes Hesse upon his retirement.
Patrick has been with VDMA Robotics + Automation since January 1999 and has a thorough knowledge of the robotics industry, assembly technology and machine industry. In addition, he was in charge of several European associations which paves the way for a smooth hand-over.
The EUnited Robotics team congratulates both Patrick Schwarzkopf and Thilo Brodtmann on their new positions and wishes them continuous success.
