European Robotics Summit on Digital Disruptions

On March 7-8, 2017, CEOs and executives of the European Robotics industry will gather again in Eberbach Monastery to discuss the opportunities and challenges ahead for the robotics sector.

We are creating a place to come together and work on topics that matter for the future of the industry. In this retreat, we will find the peace to develop strategies for future success.

The theme of the second European Robotics Summit will be “Digital Disruptions – New opportunities for robotics”.

In three blocks, we will discuss the most important issues lying ahead for the robotics industry in the coming years.

New Business models for a digitised industry: Platforms – what’s in it for robotics?

  • How to create customer benefits with open innovation in business ecosystems?
  • How to use IoT to create new business models around your core competences?
  • What can we learn from other sectors that are already one step further?

Machine intelligence – shift from deterministic systems to machine learning and reasoning

  • Will machine learning disrupt the robotics industry?
  • Or, will we get disrupted if we do not get involved?
  • How can we reap the benefits?

Human Robot Collaboration – a reality check

  • Talking straight on human robot collaboration: where do we stand and what can we really expect in the future?

Come and discuss with the leading players of the European robotics industry, participate in workshops and enjoy active networking.

Target audience consists of: managing directors, CEOs and high-level executives of robot manufacturers, integrators and key-component manufacturers from both industrial and professional service robotics.

The event is by invitation only – it is limited to 40 participants to ensure a high level of interaction.
