New EUnited Team in Brussels
We are pleased to welcome Klaus-Dieter Axt to EUnited as the new Head of Office in Brussels and Eleanor Mee as the new Membership and Communications Coordinator.
Klaus is a Public Affairs professional with 18 years of experience in Brussels. He has been previously working for a number of well-known European industry associations, such as DIGITALEUROPE, ESMIG and APPLiA. His areas of expertise 
include: Digital Single Market, Standardisation, Product Compliance, Research & Innovation, Digital Transformation, Trade, and Consumer Affairs.
Klaus will lead the association's public policy advocacy and outreach to EU institutions, provide technical support to EUnited’s industrial sectors, and handle operational administration of the Association Head Office in Brussels. Klaus is the successor of Jethro Schiansky who left EUnited in January 2021 to take on a leadership role in his family business.
Eleanor will be working alongside Klaus-Dieter Axt in Brussels. Eleanor joins us from the Association for Financial Markets in Europe (AFME) where she focused on financial services advocacy in Brussels and
Europe. There she provided administrative and logistical support to AFME’s European Public Policy division, helped manage membership, assisted in organising and running events, and supported the Head of Office in AFME’s advocacy efforts.
Eleanor is an Irish national fluent in English and French. She is the successor of Katarzyna Gorszewska and will be responsible for maintaining and developing EUnited’s membership, as well as for many of our communication and social media activities.
We are thrilled to have Klaus and Eleanor on board. Their skills and experience are great assets to EUnited and we look forward to their inputs and contributions.
