Revision of the ISO safety standard for industrial robots
Based on the outcome of an international systematic review, a revision of both parts of ISO 10218 (ISO 10218-1:2011 and ISO 10218-2:2011) will take place. Part 1 contains the safety requirements for the robot manufacturer; Part 2 contains the safety requirements for the integrator.
The revision will be carried out by the relevant working group (WG 3 “Industrial safety”) of the ISO Committee, which is in charge of robot standardization (ISO/TC 299 “Robotics”).
